You lost my sympathy there. Nothing irritates me more than people complaining about the spousal process when they're living with their spouse.
I agree. Why complain if you are with your spouse? My VO takes up to 25 months. I would do just about anything to see my husband and I wouldn't be complaining if he was with me and our kids

She is living with me that's my choice.. we are newly married couple and i don't want to ruined my life and if she has an option to apply from abroad then why we stay far away during process.... Further i am not pointed out my case i am talking about all who faced experiences to lived together or separated during process.

I understand and I think you are lucky but how can you speak for 'all' when you have no idea how hard it is to be away from your spouse. My children cry for their daddy every day. So I am saying, you cannot relate to that and can't speak to how hard it is unless you experience it.

My dear your situation and other forum members is same who is far away from families and CIC is not so feasible for them for case processing they don't know how hard this situation due to thissss i made the topic, if you can understand my posts since beginning.

1 Husband ETA - August 1, 2015!
I get that everyone is frustrated and if anyone thinks this system isn't flawed and couldn't be better I will assume they are a CIC officer posting and not a applicant or spouse... But anyways I don't want to get into this battle of wits. Just wanted to share a story, Alberta prosecuted a man - canadian sponsor, for marriage fraud today. It's the first time someone in Alberta has been prosecuted. Now if you read the sentence it's a slap on the wrist, and an insult to all of us including CIC that he gets off so easy but nonetheless it is a step in the right direction - hopefully people will think twice now with criminal charges hanging over their heads, and that can only help those of us who fight so hard to be with those we love.

Flawed is an understatement. They obviously had enough evidence of a "genuine" relationship to be approved and if not for the tip, CIC would be none the wiser. Meanwhile genuine couples keep waiting or are denied.

Just recently a member of the forum said her husband's application was denied. They have a 3 yr old daughter and over the last 3 years she has spent a lot of time in Pakistan with her husband, sometimes 8 months or 1.5 yrs at a time. During her husband's interview, the officer questioned why he did more of the calling than his wife (sponsor). The reason - it's cheaper to call Canada from Pakistan than the other way round. It makes me wonder if the officer's mind was already made up and this interview was just going through the motions of procedural fairness. After 3 yrs, she's now onto an appeal. God help us.
