CCTB is given to the parents of children who are under the age of 18 years. At the time of landing you would be given a welcome package and this form is also included in that. You will be required to open a bank account and send this form with all details to the tax centre address. It is actually given to the mother of child.

Hi,

Me n family landed on June 6, 2012.

Myself , wife and one kid received PR Cards. 2 more kids need to get PR Cards.

I heard that we need to send copy PR Card of children along with child benefit application to avail the benefits...or else the application will be returned.

I would like to know whether COPR is sufficient to apply for child benefits? or any other document?

No PR card copy is required. CoPR is good enough with SIN and bank details.
