Can anyone quell a paranoid fear I have?
My wife is applying for restoration of status as a visitor and extension of her visit visa. After uploading all of the documents online, we decided not to submit online because the site is partially malfunctioning. However we have paid $275 online and have the receipt.
We now have a paper application ready to send. I notice that the checklist, however, asks us to tick off "IMM 5401"; i.e. the receipt of payment form which apparently takes a month to get. The website seems to say that you should only go the IMM 5401 route if you can't pay online. But then why does the checklist ask for it?
Probably this is a non-problem, but could anyone confirm that it's ok for us to just submit our receipt as proof that we've paid online?
