CHC new Delhi Imigration Time and Steps

Hello Guys!!!!

I have also applied on March 7,2012 and my file was approved on june 1,2012. and transferred to new delhi. My visa office already sent me a request to submit my PP. after that i haven't heard anything from them or i cant see any updates on ECAS. I do have travel history for 4 years but i have submitted all the proofs and calling history, wedding photos, air tickets, boarding pass etc. Hopefully my status will be change this week of may be next week....my case is strait forward.

Hey Sonny, i guess we are on the same page, i got my approval on the 12th of june and my file was submitted on march the 9th... as far as i know the file goes to delhi and they request for your wifez passport in about 2 weeks time....if your case is strait forward no travel history and all the required docs attached to the file they might waive the interview and stamp the Visa after they do the backround check and other things that ll prove your marriage was genuine....

if they have any confusion or missing any documents then they might call your wife for an inteview..

so hope for the best buddy....

I got my PPR in 14 days after my sponsorship approved.

it will take 36 days after my sponsorship approves & Got PPR On 05 june 2012 thanafter no updates !!

passport request on 19 june
i sent my passport on 20 june
ND visa OFFICE recived on 21 june

i just want to know i don't have travel history any one know if they will call me for interview my wife expecting a baby for october so i want to be with her . thanks in advance

Hi all,

From what I have figured out on the spreadsheet for Delhi, they request passport in 14 days of Sponsor approval.
And on an average the application processing time after receiving PP is 1 to 2 months if your case is straight forward.
Let's hope all of us get approved soon.
Mr. Basi, don't worry you will be with your wife before Oct. Good Luck!!

i guess we have similar timeline and almost similar case.My wife is expecting a baby in September and i have sent my passport on 22nd june. GUD LUCK!!

Hi frds, Could u plz help me I got PPR today from New Delhi and letter says SUBMIT:
* Landing fees (if not paid yet)
*PCC (if not submitted)
*Passport
but i already paid the fees when we submitted are application in Mississauga on feb 15.
What should i do now??
Any one with similar experience.

HI.. I got the same letter from CHC, Delhi Regarding same requested documents and send Original passport, Original PCC and Receipt of right of permanent residence fee(Landing Fee). you should write down in cover letter stating breakdown of your fee.. for example .. The breakdown of $1040.00 would be $490 ( Right of permanent resident fee), $75 (Sponsor processing fee), $475 (principal applicant processing fee) .So, do it fast..

Got AOR on jule 20.... Now waiting for my file to be transfered to new delhi....lets keep this thread updated for all the new delhi file ....

I have heard that new delhi office request passport in couple of weeks after the file gets there.....dont know how much more time they take to do back ground check and stamp.....officialy its within 8 months on cic website .....i HOPE its not gonna take 8 months ....lol

hi everybody ,

i got married in 2011 and my wife is a canadian citizen, applied for my spouse visa on 29th december 2011 and received approval on 30th jan 2012
from missisauga that the file has been forwarded to CHC delhi for the further process. on 21st february 2012 i received a mail from CHC delhi asking
to submit my passport which i did on the very next day that is 22nd february and was received by CHC delhi on 23rd of february 2012.
on 30th march i received a letter from CHC Delhi asking me to submit my Police clearance certificate for UK as i hv studied in the UK and stayed more
than 6 months before 14th of may 2012, i submitted my police clearance on 14th of april 2012 after that i hvnt heard anything from their end.....
let me know if i can do something or should wait. its been almost 6 months for my application.
