Hi All,

We have rcvd. Medicals, PPR and RPRF. We have undergone medicals. My wife has a pregnancy of 6 months... my queries are....

1. If we submit PP and RPRF, (is it likely) does CHC ND issue the visa during pregnancy (before the child is delivered) ? or CHC waits until the child is delivered because it will take 4 months to get the child delivered ?????

2. My daughter's passport is expiring in 6 months, so what should I do ? should I get a new passport and submit ? or should I submit this only ?

Actually, I don't want to delay the visa issuance... Please comment and share your exp.

Thanks in advance...

Dear

You will have to delay the visa issuance. My wife was8 months pregnant , I also wanted not to delay the visa, so I got the X-ray done using the lead sheild hoping that they will grant us visa and then we can process the newborn lateron.

However, They will keep ur case on hold until the baby is born . As soon as my baby was born , I sent an updation and requested my passports ( which I had already submitted to CHC) bac so that I can get the passport of my newborn made, It took another one month for the passports to be returned.

Now I have submitted all the passports together ,along with the newborn medicals .

So i would suggest , that u shud intimate the embassy about ur wife's pregnancy.

Hav u got ur medicals ?

Hi sunny,

thanks for the reply... yes the doc. has mentioned in the reports about her pregnancy.....

so what do you suggest... Should I go ahead with the passport submission or wait till the baby is born ? because once again I will have to request them to send the passports back and that will delay the process

Well I can just share my experience with u like I submitted my passports to embassy, and they kept my case on hold. when the baby was born I cud hav jus sent the passport of the newborn, snaps and additional funds proof altogether.

However , the passport office requires that both parents passports should be presented in original to get the passport made for the baby , which was not my case as my passports were already wid embassy. They will not even consider the attested copy or any thing else.

So i had to sent the request to ebassy for returning my passports. This delayed my case almost one month. We had done our medicals on 29th march2010, already 3 months. Now i hav again subitted child medical and passports on 26th June.

Moreover , I had asked similar questions in this forum earlier and one of the senior members here "QORAX" replied to my queires. ALso he told me that most of the airlines won't allow women in last trimster to travel.

As long as they are aware the pregnancy is that advanced, they'lld withold your passports until after delivery for fear of you taking the risk of travelling at such an advanced stage of pregnancy, assuming the airlines overlook it.

Hi Sunny,
I am in the same situation. My wife is pregnant for 4 month ans waiting for med requests. Should I inform the visa office now about my wife's pregnancy or wait for the med req and after receiving the med req inform the visa office?

Hi seniors,
Can you please advise, my wife who is principal applicant is pregnant for 2 months. I havn't medicals yet.

1) But if we receive medicals what step we should take?
a) Should we inform CIC about same before going for medical tests.
b) Or we should go for medicals.

Regards,

HI,
If I have submitted my medicals and police clearance report and waiting for the PR to be stamped on the passports, now if my wife becomes pregnant, are we required to inform CIC about this? We plan to land in Canada for a short holiday to "activate" our PR and then come back to Dubai and work another 3 years here. We will finally move to Canada 2.5 years before the expiry date of our PR so it becomes "permanent" and we can renew after that for citizenship. We will have the baby in Dubai, not in Canada. Now when we will have the PR on our passport, how does it work for the new born?

Please advice. Thanks
