CHC LONDON: PASSPORT TRACKING HERE!!!

dear All,

I have send my PPS on May 23 from Dubai. Still did not received them back as CHC has replied back that my spouse sur name is changed ( which we informed before) now they are carrying background checks. It has been almost 3 months? How long will it take more? and what they will check? Any idea?

Hi dear, in my case too , they took more then 3 months, so have patience, you will get ur PP back very soon.

ECAS status has now changed to "Decision Made", but it still shows my current address. I have seen some discussions where applicants have mentioned having it changed to Canadian address.

Got PPR just 4 days after 'Medicals Received' line was added.

Now 'Decision Made' line has been added just 3 days after PPs were received at LVO (and without an address change).

Is it something for me to worry about, or am I going crazy for no good reason?!?

Address thingy doesnt matter mate.. I got VISA last month, got Decision Made in eCas but still its showing me the old address. Relax!

Dammn that's fast.. I sent mine last month on 26th July.. Received by chc ldn on 2nd Aug..still no decision made line added yet... I was wondering if that line is added first or is added after visa have been issued for some days???

Yeah, it was the 'fast' thing that got me worried in the beginning. I have seen mixed opinions and experiences on various discussion boards here, ranging from some applicants getting DM status a few days before receiving their PPRs (freakiest thing probably!) to no ECAS updates and passports received back with visa and COPR.

So overall, I believe most will agree that ECAS sometimes get too confusing.

You will, InshaAllah, receive your passports with VISA soon.

Yeah em really worried about it because I need to send it to us embassy now to get my immigrant visa and they have sent me a deadline aswell. That's why I really want it back now.. Just wondering if Canadian pr visa can cause any problem in US embassy since that one is pr visa aswell.. Green card in short.. Had to wait 10 long year's for it.I guess em gonna prefer us to live over canada since I have the option of both..

When is the visa issued valid upto that is issued to you on ur PP. As my medicals are almost expiring and my PP are still not back wonderin if we get any extension. Thanks and good luck

i just received a call by Canadian Embassy, Riyadh that your passport is going to be courier by Aramex....

Just 500KM away from my passport!!!

my visa is issued on 10th august and it is valid till 19th of september..so i have to travel before that.. dont have any idea regarding extension... regards

Which country did you sent it from ?? And one more thing it took like one month for you to get visa but when did you had decision made status on ecas?? Mine has been sent for like a month now but still no decision made on ecas so I was wondering if it's possible to receive passports back with visa while ecas still showing in process...???
