CHC LONDON: PASSPORT TRACKING HERE!!!

congratulations for my fellow friends!

I have not received my passports as of now....it has been 48 days. My consultant has sent a reminder as well but no reply. ECAS is still showing IN-Process?

I am too worried as u know in U.AE you cannot live for long without passports? Pls help.

48days for uae residents is too long, i suggest u to send mail directly to ur case officer,for this dont rely on consultant.

But before Dubai ( 7 months back ) i was in NZ for 4 months, May be they are having a security check?

I totally agree with u, that consultant has right for correspondence once u sign for representation but in certain cases u can email directly to case officer.i did so in my case.
uae residents cant b without pp for long,was this reason mentioned in the mail sent to IO?hv u seen the email sent to IO and do u hv idea abt date of email ? Its ur right to kw proceedings of the case.
reg NZ security,yes possible ur IO might hv asked for it,in this case there will b delay.i guess u might hv not submitted PC from this country as they might hv not asked for it.security check without PC is time consuming.lets pray that this is not the reason.
Before NZ where were u? in dubai or some other country,these things matter.
Is there meds received line in ur ecas?

Being a professional you have to travel.....and i travel to 2 to 3 countries for work realted matters...like China, Thialnad, U.A.E etc

Before NZ I was in Pakistan & my brother lives in NZ.

In U.A.E i am for the last 5 months only. My easc is showing medical received..

Hi Pooja many congrats first of all. I received my medical request today along with few more documents requested such as travel form, another new PR application form, background form, family info form and permanent resident fee. My visa office is London. Just want to know how am I supposed to pay this PR fee? and also for medical test do i have to get it done by a listed doctor in UK or I can get it done by a listed doctor from India as well? And after I submit everything how long does it take to issue PR?

it seems u r doing it on ur own. good man!!
I also sent all my docs in May (info, family update, PCC, Fees). Jus medicals were left.
I guess u r in india at this time. If yes ur visa office is delhi, right. There is a list of designated doctors who can do ur medicals there. No need to go to london for that (unless u live in london).
once u sent all, it can be anythign from 45 days to 90 days

Thanks for the reply. But my visa office is London because I applied from London. And yes I am in India now. So confused should I go to London for the medical or can I do it from India and send them the results? I need to submit Indian pcc, landing fee, and few other forms along with med

Almost 2 mths without passport in uae,ah unimaginable.
if ur pp was submitted to ur company earlier then i can understand the pressure u r facing apart from other pressures.

Forget abt calling chc london - no use.

Calling abudhabi consulate will not fetch u any info, i tried calling them for some info and u never get them,call will b diverted to answering machine.try ur luck here but i doubt.

faxing to chc london,i never heard of it and i dont kw abt it.

Usual mode of communication is email and they do respond.in ur case as consultant tried earlier and its regarding pp,i strongly believe u can mail them,i dont see any harm.apart from re-london.......email, send email also to ur case officer(this email u can get from ur consultant).

Mostly they r waiting for security report.unlike most of other dubai applicants ur situation is diff for two reasons broadly:

1.stay in uae not exceeded 3yrs.(infact for any country continuous stay for more than 3yrs in one place counts for security reasons)
2.stay in NZ - more than one mth and lesss than 6 mths.

Whatever the reason u sd b receiving pp within short time,as its high time already.we hv heard of stories of misplacing medical documents,forgotten files etc etc.

Keeping all these in mind,my suggestion is - email immediately.

all the information is based purely on my experience and observation.

For those of you in Riyadh/KSA - how I got my passport - through Aramex Courier.
I had a SMS from the Canadian Embassy first thing on Saturday saying my package was coming by Aramex and what the tracking number was.
Aramex called me the next day to verify my address and they delivered.

Superb service.. In Pakistan, they never sms nor call any applicant.. I am waiting for our passports since 2 weeks and some applicants for 3 weeks.. no news from courier nor from CHC ISB!

Anyone who got DM with medicals done back from May 2012 got their passports back? My passports have been with LVO for over a month now and still nothing. ALl documents along with Updated Information Chart, passport pictures etc have all been delivered and RECEIVED by LVO staff but until now i have not heard of anything.

Been checking the return envelope tracking number we sent them to return our passports but nothing so far.

Anyone got their passports back during these last 3 - 4 months from LVO?
