Today my wife received Police certificate request, i thought the re-PCC is not sent to the wifes ... anyone else got a similar request from LVO ?

hehe, i can understand where u r coming from on this matter... but male or female, pcc is only valid for 6 months, and once it expires simply send them another one... doesnt matter male or female applicant, u need it...

thanks brother, it is a mammoth of a process this, and having been through it, i can understand how, tense, tingly and fidgety folks get, so when i see a question that is within my bounds of knowledge, i reply, and mostly in as much of detail that they actually go through the step easily... (some folks tend to get annoyed/angry at us when they don't get a favorable response back in terms of further time, thinking we are wishing them bad, just stating the facts or how things are now a days, they need to understand that)...

Not true at least till now. If it were true, applicants of June July 2013 would have been in Canada by now but if London office keeps with the current pace, it may be true in future, inshAllah.

I have submitted application for spousal sponsorship may 2014
got approval from Mississauga office July07 2014 file transferred to LOV
just wondering now its been about 4 months but did not get any response from LOV
any idea how long they gona take I submitted all required documents
is there any one with the same time line plzz

Im april 2014 applicant...got approval...but didnt hear anything after that...ecas shows app recvd and med recvd...

I think ppl on here r tired of seeing this question asked over n over again.... lol

No one can say how long it will take.... CIC is very unpredictable.... just do ur best to get the info to them ASAP.... some ppl have received PPR2's with PPR1's.... so all u can do is just get the info to them asap....

as you know it all varies from case to case, because there are different sections to the cases, education, background security, criminality, etc etc, so we don't know what is the progress on each individual section of your case, a few might be done, 1 or 2 might still be pending, but they are progressing your case slightly at the same time by at least asking you for the ppr1... when they ask for ppr it doesnt always mean your file is 100% done and over, it could be around 80% done... any who, from what i have heard or read from others in similar situation, ppr2 usually follows the ppr1 in about 45-60 days time... best of luck...
