Inquired through MPA last week. The secretary of MPA told us that "Your file is with the Review Officer so wait for around 6 weeks of his reply".

What do you guys think about it? Is my file with the final review officer? For further details, please see my timeline.

Thanks for the quick response. Now, my follow up question is, if the VO only approves rukhsati cases, will he/she reject my application or send me a message to do my rukhsati?

If you are nikkah only they may or may not approve your application. If they wish you to do ruksati and send them photos etc as evidence then they will write you a letter indicating as such and they will give you 30, 45, or 60 days to get them those ruksati pics. You can always request for an extension if you require more time - they usually accept extension requests.

They never reject the application ... they only direct us what they want in order to continue to process our application.
