LOL it changed again why I don't know.

Still no Pass Port.

Last July I wrote Islamabad and they replied that yes the back ground check was started. Well when we had the Interview it had not been started at all. So it was a lie that they said it had been started last year I would love to kick so hard................. But I better be good lol..

Its almost over soon In Sha Allah... I wish when it is done I could have a celebration with you all here it would do us all good... In Sha Allah

Just a soft kind gentle word is all that's needed here to help each other would surely make my day

Really some people here and I say a few have no way of communicating to others. It bothers my heart that you see rude remarks like I seen today and I reported her/him.
If you really don't know the answer be quiet someone will give correct answer and for Allah's sake hold your tongue In Sha Allah. I for one have been here long enough and seen many comments but rudeness is not accepted anywhere here or should it be.
I've been waiting for almost 4 years for our application to be done and never would I hurt a member here. Their is no stupid question to be asked only the question that is never asked is stupid. So ask and ask and ask till your heart is contented enough to have the right answer for yourself they you have comfort.

We all have one life to live In Sha Allah and if you don't have words to help be quiet only Allah knows better than us all In Sha Allah..............................

I once asked the tcs guy and he said u can give return address of ur choice and if u want to pick up passport urself just mention ur number so we will call u whenever ur passport arrives at tcs. Also i ve seen a member who mentioned her passport tracking status as "hold for pick up". Not a big issue, u can also call any tcs facility and ask them.

anyone who has recently gotten PPR and sent their passport, how long is the average time to receive passport back?

also is it possible to give TCS address as return address so that the TCS office hold on to package and call person to pick up their package?

So you are saying that i have to go at TCS center and inform my address and Contact no. and tell them whenever u get courier by this address then contact me 1st Via Phone so if i can pick by myself so i will or you guyz can deliver me at home
well right now tcs helpline is bz like always and i dont know they are open for weekends but Do they really accept these type of facilities i don't think so may b im hearing this for the 1st time that's why,
as you said some of members have mentioned their passports status as HOLD FOR PICK , i want to know how it is possible to track my passport should i call to ISL embassy for tracking number as i really dont know did they send passport to me already or they are still working on it ?

Congratulations, did you get this email from London visa office or chc Islamabad?are you sponsoring your wife?when did you apply?I sponsored my husband in July 2012 n still waiting for remedical n passport request.

Actually My Wife Sponsored me in Sep, 2012 and i got email from London VO and Now waiting for PPR 2 i would Suggest to have Case Specific Enquiry regarding your Case. I Pray that you receive Correspondance Soon from London VO.

Not every tcs facility accepts passports. In isb we have tcs somewhere in g10 which accepts passposrts for canadian embassy. I am not sure actually how this works. But i have a vague idea that when u give ur passport and ask them that u want to pick it up urself, they issue you an online tracker number which is always on the reciept no matter what. Also either way you do have to give ur contact number. This happens when u are sending out passport. Have u already sent ur passport and not sure about ur return address?

have you sent your passport yet or not ?
Well for immigrant PR visas which are sponsored by spouse/relative in this case whenever u get PPR from Islamabad then you can send your passport via any local TCS to Isl embassy as i have sent via normal tcs and m sure many others did the same there is no any specific tcs for these cases unless its visitor case in that case i think many applicant use TCS VISATRONIX and that service might accept these facilities which you described earlier
and i have already mention address and phone no. in PPR forms which i sent with passport but you misguide me or may b i misunderstand you
we cant track our passport as far as i know may b some champion/experienced members could help us with this query

i could use fedEx service as in form fedEx or TCS was mentioned but most of us uses TCS so i preferred TCS as well

Just thought about sharing this. The definition of CIC for "In Process" is:


"When an application that has been sent to CIC has been opened, checked for completeness, and an employee has begun to process it (enter into the computer system, etc.)."

Checked this morning and my status has changed to in process after a wait of 30 months . Had been application received since Jan 2012. Haven't received any remedial request nor any ppr. Fingers crossed .

today we recieved PPR. D:

Embassy must have copies and all information within 7 days from today. i will provide more info about what was included in the letter when i get back home in a few days. soo happy!!!!!!!
