what did they say in the reply?

They said "This is to advise that medical instructions were sent to the applicant on 23 Aug 2013. Regards, Immigration Section."

they sent us remed instructions in a seperate email on Aug 23.

i have been waiting for my wife's visa for 2 months now and when i go to check my application status this is what i get and i have been checking every week for the past 2 months. All the information i enter is correct and still this is what i get.

I would try using other combinations:

1) Immigration File Number + info (last name + DOB + place of birth)
2) UCI number + info (last name + DOB + place of birth)
3) Receipt number + info (last name + DOB + place of birth)

I am sure one of them will work.

Congratulations! You still have to go through "Landing" process. But its like haathi nikal gaya hai aur dum baaqi hai.

Thank you soo much all of u. Yes it proves that chc islamabad is not on strike. And some body on this forum who called islamabad embassy and they said this strike is not effect on ur immigration process. It means they are very true.
Bas hum sab dua kartay hain agar wo strike par hoon bi to hum already halat ka maary pakistaniuon par raham karain aur hamara kaam kartay rahain. Ameen

All PAFSO personnel are on strike. However, they are working on rotation strike. Which means that things are very slow but not complete standstill. Local staff who probably take care of admin tasks like keeping files complete with updated papers have been sending out re-med, passport , missing forms and updated police clearance requests.

My assumption is that PAFSO employees work on files for whatever short while their labour union allowed them to work for.

I hope it explains how both observations are correct. They are working and not working at the same time.

Ok, so if i want to email chc regarding the status of my immigration,what is the effective way of writing which might,hopefully, result in atleast a decent reply.. Cause i was thinking of making the subject 'ullo lay p**ho'.. any help?

You can write and ask about the status of application which is refer to as "Case Specific Inquiry". However, that wouldn't tell you anything you dont already know i.e. case is "In process".

GCMS or CAIPS notes are more detailed and helpful.
