For those who got TRVs to visit their husbands in Canada- are there any of you that are just housewives? I ask because it seems like those who did get their TRV's either had jobs or were in school. My wife doesn't work and she completed her studies a couple of years back. I am thinking of asking her to apply for a TRV. Would appreciate all feedback.

My case…housewife and got the TRV , There is no harm in applying for TRV during immigration application process.
Moreover, Some people have negative and vague assumptions about TRV, that if u will get the TRV during ur immigration process then ur immigration process will take longer time than the actual.
Acceptance of TRV is only depends on ur luck.

Before applying for spouse visa on 29th oct,2012 i applied for quebec immigration in august,2011. I was then married in march 2012 with my canadian spouse. does it affect my application for spouse visa? Should i withdraw my file for quebec immigration? your comments are more than welcomed. plz

I don't know if there is a figure to how much. However, looking at the delays probably alot.

I don't thing it will directly affect your spousal visa. However, if you land in Canada before acceptance of spousal visa that would change the whole outlook. Now your an Inland applicant. Obviously, your acceptance of Canadian visa with spousal application is better. If you applied for skilled worker for Quebec, there are different requirements and standards. I don't think it will slow down your case. Its tricky.
