If visa is issued at Islamabad for Afghan National, can applicant fly from Kabul on that visa or have to fly from Pakistan?

Afghan nationals should fly from their own country specially if they lack any Pakistani visas.
Remember Pakistani immigration may/can/will check for the Afghan national being legal(visa status) in Pakistan.

She is legal resident of Pakistan and she was born there. She live in Pakistan her case processing office is Islamabad.

So you are saying it will be better when she get visa to go to Kabul and fly from there with an Afghan passport which she has Canada visa on it?

I need a information....my interview will be on 27 may and my passport was expire 2 months before and i renew it and get new one...so i told my lawyer in Canada that you may send my passport to London visa office...he said no need you just bring it with you on your interview date as it mention on interview letter...I pay landing fee,done re-medical will be on 30 April and get pcc my question is that on interview date when interview pas visa officer may ask that first you give copy of your passport to London visa office then we send you passport request because London visa office don't have my new passport copy...????Senior member plz help me..thanks.

I got the visa in October 2014 but my original educational documents were never returned by CIC Islamabad.

What's the best way to get them returned to you as contacting Islamabad through email is not helping.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am looking for the same answer. I actually tried to call CIC call center today but was not able
to find the option to get in touch with the Call Center Agent. I will probably send a case specific
enquiry to UK. IF you know about something just let me know.

well brother another way is you send the photocopy of your new passport to London.so they can update it in system.or wait and then take your old and new passport with you in interview.let them know your passport is renewed.it should be no issue.

best way is to renew ur pp and send scan copy of ur pp to london office, coz if they asked u for remedical and re pcc then its 80% chances that they will give u visa on interview day, but if u take new pp on interview day they wont give u visa right away coz of new pp so its better send them scan copy before ur interview

With the PP i got COPR 2 copies of it and one pic. Guys who got their PP can let me know have they also got same ?

And plz can anyone tell me when does medical expire? In a year or in six months ???

Question : do i need any other papers to travel to canada? They have send COPR with it.

Medical expires in a year...and ya i got COPR 2 copies...one had pic pasted over it while the other one did not...

I have a question here about my wifes' case we got the pp request on march 12 and we submmited the passport in islamabad pakistan visa office on march 20th, we have been waiting for the visa since than, its been 40 days now but no visa as of yet??

can someone tell me how long it takes for them to stamp the visa on the passport?

yes 2 copies of COPR. Both are required for travel to Canada, alongwith passport and visa.
Both The COPRs will be taken by CBSA (Immigration Canada) upon landing, and you will receive a stamped copy (for yourself) at airport.
The COPR with the photograph will be used to generate your PR Card by CPC-Sydney (Nova Scotia).

Medical expires 1 yr from completion date. Your COPR and Visa already indicate that expiry date. Please check it carefully.
You must enter Canada before they expire.

For Pakistani nationals the FIA also requires them to have their CNIC, or NICOP, etc. Not sure what's required for Afghans.
Perhaps contact FIA locally at airport and ask them for Afghan requirements, if any. I am not familiar with requirements for afghanis

Congrats! Did you submit your passports through TCS or VFS? I submitted mine through TCS on the 8th of April. haven't heard from them till today.

Hello Friends,

I am new to this forum although I have been reading the thread for over a year.

I need some help, I recently received my GCMS notes and it says on there under Eligibility "Review Required". My case was reviewed by an officer and he put under Eligibility "Review Required".

I am worried, can somebody please tell me what this means?
