Asslamu alaykum TORONTONIAN04,

I'm basing my response on my notes that I ordered in Feb 2014 on their background checks had not been completed when I again ordered notes in Oct 2014 it stated that police check clear but will re request another police check. Also my husband is in interview queue was made aware of this from notes. No confirmation of date.

Based on the above info I'm assuming back ground checks can take 3 - 6 months depends on how much info their is to check and if it's a husband or wife case.

i received ppr2 from LDN on 05-NOv-2014 Deliverd to CHC on 06-NOV-2014
in ppr2 email they right when your visa is issue it is valid for 27-NOV-2014 because my re-medical expires on this date,but CHC did not send back my passport if they cannot send me in time?

do all ur preparation ,, and ready for fly,, last week one member received his pp back just two days before his medical was expiring ,,,his medical was expiring on 21 and he got his pp on 18th after noon and he took flight of 19 se be ready...

Make everything ready, they will only give you 3,4 days to travel, so make advance booking if you can.
I also got ppr2 on 4th nov and received by CHC on 6th, waiting since, hopefully will get it back by next week

Write an email to lvo immediately with an urgent subject that ur pp did not return medical about to expire. Then detail them ur situation in body.

buy any available ticket even if you have to spend extra money for that, buy business class or any uper class

bara hi stupid lawyer hai ap ka, what a waste of money that has been, jo itni easily keh raha hai ke 3rd re-medical karwa laina paijaan...

I only got remedial and no rpcc( police clearance certificate) is it normal.

brother mujhay yeh batao ke why would you want to do repcc if they don't want it from you...

i was speaking to someone with a bunch of knowledge on these things that, we fret way too much (myself included earlier on) by continuously sending information when they haven't asked for it... only time we should bug them is when name, address, marital status, pregnancy, etc major things change/occur... otherwise patiently wait it out, it is a roughly 2 yr process... nothing will change it... sending more stuff non-stop will further confuse them, or sometimes force them to look at extra material to review... and people that usually do the least amount of interaction get done with things faster... (but at the same time i can understand the anxiety of people to continuously order notes - which is one of the worst things to do in my opinion if case is within normal times)...

ya i agree with you, and I done my medical on 18th nov 2014, but earlier today when i was in washroom and police clearance certificate came in to my mind which expire with my medical , i delete cic email and now i am wondering they might have send me repcc. I am a bit confused now, cuz i think normally they send repcc
