Got a letter from them last month asking for urdu nikkah nama and clarification on Rukhsati ceremony. Apparently they had missed out the update i had sent to
Islamabad/ottawa offices.

Did you hear anything about background checks or remed/repcc yet? Any indication on your notes if they have begun initial review?

I guess RG00712 visa officer handles criminality checks; hence it takes 2-3 months for him or her for each case .... Members plz input your experienced knowledge

Due to security reasons its not easy to have the CHC Islamabad officials' names and codes. However, I only know about one person name (John Butt " code : JB01218" )

Plz mention some names or codes of the Islamabad
visa officers.

NR03144 is the officer from London, UK who requests background verification/clearence from Islamabad, Pakistan. The people who already got their IMM008, and Police certificate request from London so now they have to wait for their backgrounds checks. Background check takes 4-7 months for Islamabad. After background checks, when visa officer is satisfied, will issue remedical request or if remedical is already done then (PPR1 & PPR2).

I have a feeling NR03144 is the officer that will schedule interview...

Security and Criminality checks are done by CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) , RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). The CSIS takes 1-2 months and this check is valid upto 5 years, and RCMP takes 2-4 weeks and its check valid till 1 year. CHC also do security check with Pakistani local Police. But it depends on immigration officer when he/she is going to request them not when they ask you to provide Police certificate. RG00712 could be Ms. Gaynor Rent.

They might not ask you but no trust on CHC.
Its depeneds on immigration officer when he/she is going to request backgrounds and security checks. SO the time officer request background checks. the time starts from there.
Even for myslef waiting for last 5 months and no news yet.

If they scanned the documents on their immigration database, most likely they won't ask for it again and go straight to the remed.
