but there is a teeny tiny problem ........ CHC is not ready just yet

ture. don't understand their mentality, re-medical is done have the passport with u for 2.5 months. wht's left now?

i think the Doctor needs his own medical exam done from a mental hospital

the things is medical results are sent to New Delhi, but those stupids are not sending them to CHC-I.

filed in july 2011 nd transfered to IBS in oct.2011 re-medical done on july 17,2012 nd passport sent on July 18,2012. now waiting waiting nd waiting

you must have already heard this but ...... try contacting your local MP and if your husband is in canada tell him to try to contact MP ..... some time when they send an enquiry .... it kind of shakes them up a bit

my MP contacted CHC-I twice nd they said awaiting for medical results. 2nd time they said they wonder if the applicant did the medical. CHC-I have the medical payment receipt which my husband sent with pasport. CHC-I even called my husband on Sept. 19 to ask if he did medical nd he told the person the date of medical examination nd doctor's name. still no update really frustrated. logon ne alug pagal kiya hua hai pooch pooch k

Just an update for everyone...or not really one...I have an incredibly good MP office in my riding who has checked with Ottawa and Islamabad 4 times in previous 6 weeks...unfortunately the answer is same...awaiting results of medical...I'm not getting why the medicals are taking so damn long?!

On my GCMS notes it says HMB Ottawa...does that mean my wife's results are being evaluated in Ottawa not New Dehli? Does anyone have GCMS with HMB Ottawa or New Dehli written? Any seniors with an insight? Anyone else with meds and/or PPR in July go to MP-what's your status?

May Allah help us all and reunite us with our spouses.

No ...... U have to go back to pak 4 re-medical.

Just heard from a colleague at work , that he sponsored his wife from CHC-new dehli -> got ppr 4 months ago and since then , even as Indian , he is not in receipt of passport yet.. very strange.
Following is my wife's timeline, i was thinking even if it takes 2-3 months why we dont see many updates from those who submitted their passports in June or May...perhaps they are about to change immigration rules..wullah aalum ...distance relationship,sponsoring wife, waiting for pp... very complex businesses...


Applied from Mississauga in May 2011 (nikah case)
approved from Mississauga in June 2011
Case transferred to ISD in July 2011
(Got married in mar 2012)
Received update documents request (proof of communication etc.) 16 April 2012
Sent documents 16 May 2012
started processing (ECAS change) 24th of June 2012
Re-Med request 16th of July 2012
PPR request(separate from remed) 19th of July 2012
Med and passport sent 23 -July-2012

Is there even an option to get a visit visa? I thought they reject such cases where the applicant has already applied for immigration..

there is no harm in trying...
u ve to show proof tht u will return back to ur country within 6months to 1 year..
try to convince ur husband to let u try for visitors visa..
