Passport request on 16th may but still no reply can any share the same experience?How much further time should i wait?please reply any one?

Hi Everyone... 1st of all i would like to congratulate the people whose visa's have been processed and the moderators and people registered on this forum who has been outstanding and very supportive to each other. I have some questions to ask, i would really appreciate if you guys can let me know the exact picture...:

- They asked for my remed, Police Clearance.. as it was expired... submitted to CHC ISL in March 2013 (after 1 week status was in process with additional note in it, Medical Results have been Received.

- Passport was requested from CHC ISL - They received my passport on 20th April 2013.

- My online status has been the same... IN PROCESS... when i click it.. i see the same thing... It doesnt say decision made of Status determined.

- It has been around 45 days since they have my passport... Are they going to change my application status first on the website and then issue the visa...

Please explain what is going on....

Same is with me they sent passport request on 16th may i sent but no reply.I also received call to deposit landing fee which i did on 16th may than he said within 15 or 20 days you will receive your passport but not yet.

what is RPRF fee ? please help me cos we sent my fee only 550$ thanks

Right of Permanent Residence Fee ,490 $ .Can be paid during the processing of application and before visa can be issued.

Maximum time as seen on these forum for passport return been 6-9 months, and minimum have been 11days

Please specify if yours is Wife or Husband case and also share your timeline

Senior members, need your opinion on this.
I shared this with the 2012-2013 thread members and wanted to know what you guys think based on your experience.
I contacted my MP's office last week asking them to do an inquiry for my case. The MP's office called me today and told me that they called Immigration Canada and spoke to them. Immigration Canada told them that my case will open in Feb 2014 (im a Feb 2012 applicant [WIFE CASE]).

Upon hearing this I asked the MP what I should do to speed this up, I have already visited my wife 4 times since I got married. Perhaps I can send more proofs? They told me that sending proofs wont help since my case isnt open and no-one is even looking at the file.

Now based upon your experience, is it possible for a file NOT to open for 2 years??
Do you think that Immigration Canada just gave the MP's office a generic reply to ward off any further inquiry?? I am sitting at the 16th month mark now, without any movement in my case, when do you guys think i will hear something?

Thanks for the reply. We didn't get a passport request. Only medical. I see you have submitted your medical aswell. Did you do even before the HC requested it?

MP offices don't really know anything / can do anything for you. If you sent enough proofs when you got married - don't send any more. Enough would be 50 - 60 pics / correspondence.

They did not ask remedical.They extended one year medical

so if according to some MP dealing of some 2012 cases was done by mistake, then should i be worried ?? They have my Passport :'(

Please 2012 applicant who got ReMed and PPR pleaseee update if you got any response yet.
