I applied for my Dear Wife in Pakistan from Canada on JUNE 2011. So far other than AOR we did not received anything from CHC Islamabad. Even our online status just shows

"We received NC's application for permanent residence on August 4, 2011."

So far, No remedial request for us, No request for any other thing in the world means since August 4, 2011 we have ZERO progress.

I contacted my MP and we got a reply from CHC Islamabad saying
"The file is in queue for further review and it remains within published processing times."

ISLAMABAD SUCKS.

My case was also taking very very long and I ordered GCMS to find out why. To my dismay, my case had been put in interview queue and that was causing the delay. After that, I started doing everything I could to get out of this queue.

I encourage you to order GCMS as well to get details about the progress of your case.

Hi guys,

I need some help here. Here is my timeline.

1. Applied to Sponsor Wife on Feb 14th 2012
2. Received approval from Ottawa for first step and file was transfered to ISB on May 28th 2012

Today, I received mail to my Canadian address (not to my wife in Pak). Letter asking to re-submit few applications again:

Anyone got same thing? Why they sent letter to me .. why not to my wife in Pak?

N one strong suggestion for all of u...who r going to apply....our case wasnt applied through lawyer but Hubby had took services of one person I dont knw wat they r called (anyone here can help me wid dat)...I guess immigration experts...ma Hubby had filled forms himself n gathered all required docs but he went to him n got thngs cross chkd by him..
My case had some mistakes but since relation was gunine n official docs were complete...case wad completed in average time.....delays in da cases r only coz of some mistakes...missin documents etc.....

N for those sendng relation proofs..one suggestion frm me...grt ur Skype conversations extracted with da software "skypelogviews"...its easy.download n..install it.....since u cant alter typed conersation in it...it makes this proof alot more authentic....

I need a quick help here.
My status was changed to decision made on 25th April n still waiting for pp.
My current home address was changed to "Edmonton,Alberta Canada" although through out the whole prcess n in all our applications we had provided them with the address of Fort McMurray,Alberta (complete address) where ma Hubby iz currently residing n working.
Do I need to update it?
N it doesnt hav to do anythng with da delay am havng in rcvnh my PP bak??

no progress in my case either ... applied on exactly same date as you aug 04, 2011.... status just says received application.

You need to post 10 times I guess before you get that option to update your profile.. keep comment on posts.. in order to do so or ask questions

I totally agree with you that I should apply for GCMS. I tried my best to be patient and just wait but now it is too much.

I have provided them more proof of our relationship in feb 2013. do you think I should go ahead and order GCMS now or give them more time?

I applied for my wife. Yes, I guess my wife must be in the interview line...... perhaps..... that's why it is taking so long. But, so far other than AOR we never received anything or any request for anything from Islamabad.

Anyhow, from now in I am going to start collecting all the necessary information "HOW TO APPLY GCMS" and gonna apply for it ASAP. I'll keep you guys up-to-date.

y dont u guys apply for gmcs notes n see y ur cases is not in process.
And email them urselves or have ur mps email dem regarding ur case. If u dont take actions. They will play around thinking u dont care. Ita important to update n ask for updates
