actually same thing happened to us, Ottawa cic told us that remed instructions were on the way back in June 2011, but instead we received IMM and rePCC request. Lots of members told us that we will soon be getting our remedical but that hasnt happened. Its now almost September now, and God knows when we will get remed and PPR,,

Thats so stupid! Don't tell me that they just opened your file for initial review now Are they already done with 2010 VISA qoutas? I really hope NOT!!!! This is rediculous man, I feel your pain. Hang in there and send whatever they ask for ASAP. Order CAIPs to get an idea and if CAIPS don't help, tell your wife to contact her area's MP and get him involved see if he can do something to expedite the process

Today I have received a single page request for Update police Certificate & IMM forms unexpectedly.
They have asked for the following:
1- RePCC

2.3- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdf
2.4- http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/PakistaniNationals-Form-en.pdf

Now I had already submitted PCC in April voluntarily and its not even 6 months to that and also in an email reply they said you would be getting remed request soon and here comes the IMM & rePCC request...... weird !!!
I have ordered CAIPS and hopefully would get response after 2-3 weeks.

Does it make sense to anyone Yes, No, Dunno?

It seems like they are dragging your case for no reason. Order CAIPS already and wait for 2-3 weeks to see if you get Re-medical.

Are these your old notes? Seems like they were asked to send the medical request. After receiving medical results, the file was supposed to be reviewed by WVR (Officer's initials). Paper file sent to FCR (storage area) and bring forward the file again on May 25, 2011.

Ok so your caips are similar to mine. They don't show the next BFD for you either that means all of the above comments were made during your initial review on May 25th, 2011. If you havn't received remedical request yet, don't get surprised. Have you emailed them about your case status lately? Normally they tell you in the email if the request was sent or not.

My CAIPS said to send the remedical request in Feb along with repCC and IMM forms, but we didn't at that time. We received it after 3 months when they opened our file again after 45 + 45 Days of rePCC and IMM forms.

yes it makes sense,everything is possible with CHC-ISB, but hopefully next is re med so don't worry.

Caips is a better way to see the activites being performed on your file. Its totally your choice to order them if you are curious about whats going on at CHC-Islamabad.

Its $5 if the applicant is outside CANADA and you are ordering them on your spouse's behalf and it takes 30 days to get it. You now have an option to email the request and receive them by email as well, but it still takes 30 days you just save mail delivery time by sending and receiving via email.
