I need your help. I was looking everywhere for answer.
Here is my situation.
I am currently here on a student visa which expires on June 30th 2011. I got married to a Canadian 2 months ago and now we are waiting for a police certificate from my country to start an immigration proccess (spousal). While waiting I need to extend my temporary stay in Canada.
So I am wondering:
1. I want to apply online. Should I attach my current study permit (or just a copy of passport), marriage certificate, any letters explaining my financial status? His parents are sponsoring me right now since we were both studying (finished - it was just a short course).
2. For how long can I ask an extension for? Will it be suspicious if it will be for like a year or more?
