So hitting hard financial time while waiting for my PR app to process and decided to take a job back in the states for the remainder of the time. I applied in July and am being processed at Mississauga so shouldn't be too much longer. I have a couple questions however.

As far as notifying IRCC of my address change: Do I just use the GCkey site to do that? And will it look bad that I all of a sudden decided to move back to the states? Kind of has to be all of a sudden because the job offer would be gone if not.

I had to apply to extend my visitor status back in November and that app is still being processed as well. Do i need to withdrawal that application?

No, it doesn't look bad. An outland applicant has no obligation whatsoever to be living in Canada while the app is processing.

You can't change your address on GCKey. You will need to submit a CSE (case specific inquiry) via the IRCC web form informing them of your new address.

I wouldn't worry about withdrawing the visitor extension app.

Okay thanks, that's good to know it shouldn't be a problem.
