I stay in India and recently received my PPR, to be submitted to VFS office and from there to Canadian High Commission (Delhi). The only issue is that I will be travelling to US on B1 visa for 39 days starting this week and will thus be unable to submit my passport to VFS. Although I've dropped a mail to the visa office informing them about my inability to submit passport and requesting for change in stamping location (to US) or extension in date, I have following questions/requests:
1. Will it be better to seek extension in passport submission (30 days) after returning or getting it stamped in US?
2. Is there a location close to Philadelphia (PA) where I can get my passport stamped? - What is the process involved? (i believe VFS doesn't function in US)
3. Can anyone, who has experienced similar issues, share their story?
P.S Last day for passport submission for me is October 5th.
