Passport was requested last week , that decision has been made and need passport for the visa processing.
Today got a call that to Send A New Ticket for processing.

Already, a ticket was attached with the application, this ticket I had to cancel for their delays in processing. Whatever, Genuinely its like a harassment for no reason. Cancellation charges and then buy new tickets at super high expensive price.

:( :( :( :( :(

Passport request letter as below. Why does it say Decision has been made when there is no decision?

Dear XXXXX,
This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.

Hi Rahul,

The decision is not final until the passport is received by the visa office (for an online application).

It is not necessary to buy tickets for the TRV application. The document checklist has been misunderstood for this point. It's always best to wait until a TRV/visa is issued before booking any tickets.

Did you cancel your MIL's flight tickets before sending the CSE for expedited TRV stamping? Did you send this CSE requesting expedited stamping saying she has a flight today? If yes, the visa office would like to confirm that your MIL really has a flight today.

It's rather unusual otherwise to get a phone call from the visa office asking to see new flight tickets in order to make a decision

Cheers

Hi! Bryanna,

While submitting online application, there was a upload section for itinerary. Still ticket is secondary thing as person who has travel plans today or tomorrow he or she is going to buy a ticket.

But, calling for visitor visa is super weird as other have travelled before from my family.
Also, questions asked by the woman from visa office were weird
1. Where is your husband?
2. What do your other kids do?

Feels like to me they open and start the file only and after they have the physical passport with the file.

VFS tracking says that passport has been dispatched. Keeping fingers crossed. The ticket I booked again for January first week travel with more than the double price:(

Hi Rahul,

For the itinerary section, provisional flight bookings will suffice. There are no guarantees to whether the TRV will be processed before the flight departure date. Hence, it's not advisable to buy tickets in advance.

Did your MIL have a telephone interview?

Your MIL will get her passport tomorrow.... with the TRV :) The first week of January is always very expensive for tickets to any destination

Cheers
