certifying electronic documents

I have a question about certifying documents for anyone that can help.

Do we need to certify documents that are only available online? For example, my I94 card from the US is available only electronically, so technically what I print is the original. Also, my transcript is available online for downloading. Do I need to certify it too? And my reference letter from the employer is also electronic with electronic signature. What do I do about that?

If anyone have any idea about this issue, please answer.

Read your checklist carefully. Original or Certified copies are required to submit only if your checklist ask for it.
If not send copies only.
You need to print the online documents.

I took the copies to mean "certified copies." What you are saying is that when the checklist says 'copies", they don't have to be certified copies?

I will be applying from the US, so I need I-94 to shown my length of residence here.
