I am applying Citizenship, but I am not quite clear about the documents required.

Like the copies of PR Card, Immigration Record Paper, Personal Identification .....etc.

Must it need to have it 'Certified True Copies'?

It seems not necessary, just wish to clarify.

Thanks.

Thank you, but I heard that it needs to have someone to sign that certified that the photocopies of the documents is true. Is it correct?

Certified true copies
To have a copy certified, an authorized person must compare the original
document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”

the name of the original document

the date of the certification

his or her name

his or her official position or title

his or her signature
Who can certify copies?
People authorized to certify copies include the following:
In Canada:
Outside Canada:

a commissioner of oaths

a notary public

a justice of the peace

a foreign service officer

a judge

a magistrate

an officer of a court of justice

a person authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living

No, for a citizenship application this is not true.

I don't know which specific instructions you got that information from, but it wasn't from the citizenship instructions. You have to keep them separate; instructions for one particular kind of application do not apply to other applications.

but if you really want them certified, go to the nearest MP office and let them stamp and sign the photo copies of documents. though I don't think it's necessary, as the copies will be checked any way.

The "certified true copies" of all my documents were done for me, free of charge, by my bank and accepted by CIC. They had a stamp stating "certified true copy of original" and were signed by the bank official.
