Hi I have a question. we are just about to submit our application and reviewing everything as we don't want it returned. we reviewed the guide for the translation of documents and it states:

you must send the following for any document that is not in English or French:

1. the English or French translation - and
2. an affidavit from the person who completed the transaction
3. a certified document of the original document

So the situation were in is that my common-law partner is from china and we got her HUKOU translated in China and then we got her mom to send us picture of the hukou which we copied on a word document. the translator in China put his stamp on the document saying We hereby certify that the above translation copy is in conformity with the original one. s giend his name and then included his company and licensed number.

do we need to get her mom to send us certified copies or will this work? does the translator need to sign an affidavit?

any help would be so great, were literally at the last step and I came across this

thanks
