CEC-OINP-proof of funds

Hi all,
Do I need to show proof of funds if I'm only qualified to apply under CEC? I have applied through the OINP Provincial program and they have requested recent bank statements. Do I need to show them funds as stated in the link below? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

I've been living in Canada for 5 years ans working full time for 2 years now. I'm on PGWP visa, don't have an LMIA.

You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. Check out the link below.

If you're applying under OINP you should provide information requested, that's not CEC

As a general rule you should provide any requested documentation

Yes you must show funds for CEC-OINP category.
