Hey guys, in regards of “original entry date” of P1 questions.
I stayed in Canada with a 1 year work permit 2017-2018 (T4, SIN existing) then I went back to my country. Then after 1 year, I came back to Canada in 2019-2021 as a college student visa, then 2021-now PGWP. I put arrival date of 2017 as my entry date in P1 response, I’m curious if I did right answer?

I did the same. I originally came in 2018 for 2 weeks to visit my spouse on a SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit). Then came again in 2019 for my Masters. And now on PGWP, i put the original date from 2018.

I phoned and asked about this. I was informed that this should be the first date that you came to Canada ever. So if you visited on holiday and then as a student or temporary worker it would be when you were visiting. That said, apparently this date isn't actually that important (or so I read).

From the information you provided it sounds like you have put the correct date.

When can I expect P2 as per the current trend?
Also, can someone please share the specifications for the photo to be done for P2 and where to get it from?

I would say after one week.

You can get it from a lot of places, and they all know how to do it. Including Shoppers, LondonDrugs and most of the photo shops.
