CEC /IELTS TRF Question - pls help

I applied under FSW (CPP-O) in Aug 2012 and AOR was received in Oct 2012. So far there was no progress/updates from CIC. My WP expired this mid-Oct 2013 and currently on BoWP expiring in June 2014. I started working since Jan 2011, and have 2.5+ years exp in Canada. I am currently not working on BOWP and planning to move out of country.

With the timeline changes to 25 months, I am thinking of applying under CEC as I have more than 1 year experience in Canada. I took IELTS last year, but could not meet CLB7 in one module. So, I took IELTS this Oct and yet again missed CLB7 in one of them, although overall band is 6.5 in both. Now that I have CLB 7 in all modules with both tests, can I send both?

1) Is it OK to submit CEC application, while FSW is submitted?

2) Can I apply under CEC, and send both the scores, as I have Band 6 (CLB7) and they are less than 2 year scores?? Is it OK to send 2 TRF's? I didnt see anywhere in the application/checklist specifying any constraints. Let me know.

2) I currently do not have work, so planning to move out of country for sometime. Do I need to update my address on FSW application & on the CEC?

hi thedippaar,

1) yes you can have more then one application in process,you will have to pay the processing fees again 550$ for each application you choose to submit.
2) you can not mix scores of more then one test results to meet the canadian language benchmark required for CEC(this is not allowed by CIC),you can find this information for your self in their operational manual.
3) if you are only going out of canada for a vacation even if its for a few months since you hold a valid BOWP and plan to return before the expiry of your work permit then no need to update CIC with your new address,if you are planning to return only once you get your permanent resident visa then you must update CIC with your address,you can do it online.
please note that if you have provide your email address in your application then CPP-ottawa will communicate with you using your email.

If you belongs to NOC 0 or A, your Speaking result is not sufficient from 1st exam, 2nd exam reading is not enough
If you belongs to NOC B then you are fine.

also make sure your NOC code is not one of the 6 ineligible occupations under CEC anymore,and if its noc B you have to act fast because cic is only allowing a sub-cap of 200 applications for each noc B and an overall total of 12000 applications will be processed for all nocs (0-A-B) from november 9th 2013 till october 31st 2014.

Thanks Canadavisa13 & Omshri. My NOC code is 2171. Can you pls share which manual/checklist quotes that TRF's cannot be mixed. Pls help/share additional details.
