I applied for Canada PR in 2023 under CEC when I was in Canada working on a work permit. In October 2023, I moved to the US on H1.
In November 2023, I received an email from IRCC that the PR is approved and they asked to respond whenever I am back in Canada (I let them know my intention to continue the PR application process). I got married in December 2023, I let IRCC know that, and they requested multiple forms and marriage proofs to add my spouse to the application. I am currently in the process of doing that. My spouse is on H-1B in the US and will not accompany me to Canada.
(I also updated my residence address in the application a few weeks ago)
I am wondering if my application will move forward although my residence is now the US? Or, will they ask me to withdraw the application (or apply outland)?
(I am trying to ensure that application will move forward before applying for pcc and fbi for my spouse.)
