CEC application for Quebec resident

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the CEC. I am working in Montreal since last year. I intend to apply for PR but it looks like the process in Quebec is painfully long and also you can be rejected just because you do not speak french. I am thinking to apply for CEC. I know that i am eligible to apply for the CEC but the condition is that i must show serious intent to leave Quebec and settle outside. I do have plans to move to Ontario since i only speak English and may not be able to survive long without french in Quebec. Is language a good reason to prove your plans to settle abroad or you have to provide better reasons. Can you share some other examples of intents that proved successful for CEC applications ?

With best regards
Sal

You have to show something more concrete, like a job offer and a rental agreement in Ontario... It is also a good thing to show if you have friends or family in the community where you plan to settle...
