Case specific enquiry

Hi there,, I sent a case specific enquiry to CIC london today asking about my full documents which I sent to CIC on 20.10.2009, I told them that I just want to make sure whether they recieved the documents or not because i have not heared anything from them till now. do you think I did the right step or it is better to wait and see.

TMSB, you have done the right thing but they haven't sent anything after August 2007 applicants for London. Appliants of Sept/Oct are waiting for their doc. update letters. When thet get back to you, can you share that on this thread.

Sorry i took it as if you applied on 20/10/07 and asking for Doc. Update request letter, when you sent ur documents, didn't u use registered mail ? Anyways it still doesn't harm if u have sent a case specific enquiry, as long as you are not constantly sending any correspondances, you'll be ok.

Hi Ahmed and thanks for your reply,, I applied 01/07/2007 and they asked me to send the full documents on July this year so as I said in the previous thread, I sent them the documents October this year and i have not recieved any thing yet from them. this is the first case specific enquiry for me to CIC. and I don't know howlong normaly they need to ask for the Medical test. regards

The best thing to do is to order CAIPS notes. There you will have an answer to your query and probably more details like the BFD (Bring forward date). This is the day the VO will review your file.
