Hi All,
I don't know where to post about Caregiver class so im just dumping it here ;D
Anyway, I have a friend whos turning 24 months as Live-in caregiver on May 31st.
Based on the new Caregiver class criteria. she will be eligible to apply after having 24 month canadian work experience as "Caring for People with High Medical Needs".
On May 31st she will be out of status in canada. what is the best for her to remain in canada while waiting for the AOR after the submission?. would applying a visitor visa will help?. Is she still allowed to work while waiting for the application result?.
On the older system an applicant can apply for an open work permit at the same time with the permanent residence application.. I don't think this also applicable with the new system as it wasnt mention in the guide.
Please shed some light seniors...
Thank you.
