We sent you a notice on February 21, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 7, 2012 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. had the test on march 29th and still waiting like you.
as sad as i was, i kind feel better now because others took
the test in march like me and still waiting for oath.
this mean hope for all.

I called the the center, and they told me that I've been scheduled to meet the judge in Jun, but I don't know why! Question, do you think that after they make the schedule, there's any chance that they can change it and make it a little bit closer or they never change the schedules? please give me some sense

@raman1127. I have the same problem. I took it with the family in May 2012. I called the call centre last week, and the officer said that there could be several reasons to why I haven't received my test results. One reason COULD BE that one of the family members would need to see the judge (b/c they failed the exam). In order to see the judge, we would need a seating/appointment. So, it could be that we are waiting for an open seating to see the judge.
However, it could be different in your case. This has been my experience so far.

@Raiya. You are scheduled to see the judge in June 2013? Wow that's a long time. What is the timeline of your application? Typically, when we are asked to see the judge, it is probably because we did not pass the exam. That's my thought -- but perhaps there could be oher reasons as well? I am not sure about the schedule changes -- maybe you should call the call centre. I'm sure they can help you more. goodluck.

The process overall use to be 19 months (now is 21 months, you can check CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/cit-processing.asp) as long as your application still in that timeline they won't be able to give you any update, i'll advice you the checkout this like and you will have an idea about the timeline for some applicants from Montreal:

We started processing your application on January 20, 2012.

We sent you a notice on February 24, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 13, 2012 at 8:00 AM.

We sent you a notice on March 29, 2012 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on April 17, 2012 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment.

Hey everyone, Below please see my timeline for Canadian citizenship. I moved to Chile almost a year ago to do a 2 years research job. This year I should make a one month visit to Canada to meet some of my colleagues but I am afraid to plan this trip and then when I get back, Canadian citizenship office ask me to visit Canada for a citizenship test. Chile is pretty far and it's really hard for me to make two trips to Canada within a year. I wonder what the steps are, do they first transfer my file somewhere and then after how long I'll be asked for a test. How much time they give me to go and take the test? How long after I should take the oath. I extremely appreciate your advice.
