Hello, so I am Canadian and my wife is American we live in the USA . I am a permanent resident
In the US, and my baby will be born here, I however was not born in Canada I was born in Mexico and obtained citizenship through neutralization in 1998, when I was 4 years old. Will my baby receive Canadian citizenship through me or is she not qualified because I guess she would technically be a second liner because I receved Canadian citizenship through neutralization and not birth?

As you are a naturalized Canadian, your child will also be Canadian.

Naturalized Canadian and Canadians born in Canada are both "First Generation Canadian"
the so-called second liner refers to Canadians born outside Canada to one or two First generation Canadian parents. Those people (Such as your kid) get their citizenship through their parents.

I am Non Canadian citizen and my wife is a Naturalized Canadian. Our son was born in the States and we already applied for his Canadian Citizenship certificate

Here is the application package
