Hello Fellow Canadians
I applied for my daughter’s Canadian citizenship certificate back in November 2020.
My daughter was born in Morocco in August 2020. Her mother is Moroccan and her father is Canadian.
For some reason including Covid related travel ban, I had to apply for my daughte’s citizenship certificate from within Canada instead of applying through
the Canadian Embassy in Morocco.
it’s been now 4 months and I am yet to receive an acknowledgment of receipt from IRCC.
right now I don’t have a file number to check the status of the application.
I’d love to hear any similar experience and advice from you
