Application type Canada work visa 2023

Biometrics on 19th september
Upfront medical
Medical completed to updated on 23rd september.
background check in progress since 23rd september and not update yey.
Eligibility not started.

Does anybody know or have gone through this timeline ?

Why there is no update after medicals approved?

My wife is the main applicant for work visa and I am dependant.

There is no update because nothing has else has likely happened wuth your application. What type of WP have you and your wife applied for. It can take 6 months to process some WPs with no guarantees of success.
