canada visitor visa from usa b2 visa holder ??

hi

i am on b2 visa in united states and want to apply for canada visitor visa from here.
my questions are
1. what is that duration of visitor visa for canada ( are they also issue 10 year multiple entry visa like us do )
2. is that a good option to extent I-94 for another 6 months if i enter back in usa after staying there in canada for 1 month
