canada pr card nationality problem

Hi all,

I have an urgent issue. My family is holding Canada pr cards now. My kid was born in USA, so he has "USA" as nationality on his Canada PR card. but my wife and I are studying in USA on non-immigrant visa. We plan to travel back to our home country, and my kid will apply for the passport of home country. However, we have a problem with the Canada pr card nationality. If my kid have a new passport of my home country, do we need to change the nationality on his Canada par card???

if not, I think we will have big trouble to exit home country at the border agency. Because my home country doesn't recognize dual citizenship, so the USA nationality on Canada PR card will most like void the pr card legitimacy, the border agency will not recognize the pr card with another nationality instead of home country. So, what should I do ? any comments?

I don't understand what is the problem - your son is the USA citizen and has USA passport. Why would you show any other document at border in your home country? You used the same document to enter the country.
Also, if your country doesn't recognize dual citizenship, how are you going to make him another passport (and why)?
