canada gc- expiring

Hi.
I got canda gc but could not move to canada. It expires next year. From what I know, I was suppose to spend 2 yrs out of 5 in canada. can u renew a expired GC? I am in USA.

You need to come to Canada before the 5 years is up and stay for 2 years and not leave Canada in those 2 years to keep PR
