Can we do something? Any ideas?

I have read from others that we are just a file to them (Immigration) and that we all have a story and they dont care. It is so hard to believe this. They must have a family that they love and want to keep together. So do we!! They must have a heart.
I have read many cases, just like mine and I cant believe that they do not care about all these people. I need my family together again!
Would there be anything that we can do? Should we protest? Any Ideas?

I'm a born Canadian trying to sponsor my wife during this fiasco. They don't care about me either! As much as I love my country, I'm pretty shocked at how little press coverage this is getting and how people seem so indifferent.

You said it!!!

While it is true that the number of people that are sponsoring their spouse, not to say the thousands of people who applies to come to Canada as new immigrant, is a huge challenge processing wise. But, when you hear that someone's file has not been finalized for 2 years, your mind starts to wonder how could this happen in this modern day and age of instance communication. At least when it is matter of family unification, it is a legitimate question to ask why it takes so long.

Here's a start, https://www.facebook.com/ChrisAlexanderCanada the minister of immigrations facebook page, you will see the first item on his page is the treasury boards letter re: the job action, I am on there posted as Dan **** first comment on that item, it is a very very small first step, but it is public and everyone can chime in until they get tired of seeing it and pull it down or try to have our posts removed.

But if you start something as simple as a facebook campaign, don't forget all the other, where you can post your thoughts on line that are open to the public.

Just keep it clean and on task, and most places will let it stand.
