Can my previous employer in Canada cancelled my worker visa?

you should apply for a new visa under your new LMO. your work permit will be issued upon entry to canada. as for poea exit clearance, you spuld apply again to reflect the name of your new employer. poea exit clearance is only a requirement in the philippines. without this, pu cannot leave the country. canada will not ask for your poea exit clearance. c",)

I have got my work permit already issued till Aug 2015. Actually the agent through which I got LMO I dont want to deal with him anymore. He is just a liar. Now he is threatening me that he will get my work permit cancel. So my question is there any way that agent can cancel already issued valid work permit. My employer is really happy with my work and he is willing to help me till my PR.

The agent does not have the authority to "cancel" any work permit. Only CIC or CBSA(border agent) has the authority to do that. The agent however can call and report information about you. If this happens, CIC/CBSA may investigate to see if it is credible information.

Assuming you did nothing wrong and have not committed any offense(e.g. lying on your application forms, etc) which he is using to blackmail you, then it's probably a good idea to consider reporting these threats to the police. If you have proof of the threats(emails, text messages, phone calls), you can give it to the police as well.

Fortunately the LMO I got is genuine........all the documents I forwarded for work permit processing is genuine too.
Actually the agent charged me unnecessary cost of LMO saying that this is employer's fee........but now I have come to know from my employer that he didnt ask for any LMO fee.........like the agent just told us lie and now he is asking for more money.
I already apply to CIC for sending me a copy of my valid work permit so that I can start working under my current employer.
Therefore I want to confirm by any ways can my agent get my work permit cancel......which he is using as a threat.

Please reply if you have some more information about it.

No, he can not cancel your work permit. Go to the police, instead of living in fear. You can even go to the YMCA and report the issue to the person coordinating immigrants' affairs and they should be able to help you.

May ask lng po ako paano po kung tapos na mag Pdos at paalis na then at last minute biglang nagbago ng employer n papuntahin ka s Canada.Pwede pa po bng magamit ang permit for entry sa canada at doon nlng maghanap ng panibagong employer thru LMO rin?
Hope u can share some of ur ideas regarding this matter.

sumadya ka sa cem para itanong kung pwede yun para walang sisihan na gumastos ka tapos a to a ka lang as airport to airport. baka kapag tinawagan ang employer na nagbackout tapos sinabi na di ka na nila itinuloy pwedeng magdesisyon ang cbsa o canada border service agency kung ganyang wala ka nang inaasahang employer na kukuha sayo at papasok ka sa canada para maghahanap ng bagong employer...sa nalalaman ko ang trv kaya inisyu ay may employer na nag sponsor para ihire at makarating ng canada...

Musta na ung application mo? We have the same situation. My employer back out due to that POLO thing.. but they said they will not cancel my visa, hahayaan nila ako makahanap ng new employer, ngayon nakahanap na ako, nag submit kba ulit ng application fir TRV? Sabi kasi ng mga kaibigan ko na nandun na sa canada, yung visa na inissue from CEM ay entry visa lang, if mag chchnage ng employer prior to arrival, dapat may new LMO at contract na dala from new employer, at yung letter galing CEM na authorized kana mag travel to canada, nalilito na kasi ako, kasi dito sa forum need mag reapply, sabi nman ng iba, ok lang basta may new LMO at contract, kasi tatawagan nman daw ng Border officer yung new employer kung may expected foreign worker sila na darating.. Hayyy naguguluhan na ako..
