Hi I am an international student who is currently working with a mortgage brokerage on commission basis (I hire mortgage agents and get paid for every agent I hire). Mortgage Agents I feel makes a ton of money and frankly this field interests me a lot.
I want to know if I can become a Mortgage Agent. The qualification criteria in FSCO says "Must be resident of Canada" in their eligibility criteria... I am not sure if a temporary resident would be considered a resident?
PS: I read any foreign worker cant open a business.. But I hope working on commissions is ok?
