Hi,

I have been in Canada for over 1.5 years now. Currently, I am in my home country on a winter break, and will be back in Canada end of February. I am in the process of applying for PR under the FSW EE and should submit my EE application this week.

1. Can I get my medical done before I receive an ITA?
2. Can I get it done in my home country?

I will be in Canada when I complete and submit the application after the ITA. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
akarshank

It is recommended to do medicals only after your receive ITA. If you are in your home country when you receive ITA, then you can do it in your home country. Else, you have to get it done from Canada.

Hey thanks! That was very useful. Is it the same for PCC?

Get your Indian PCC from Indian Embassy in Canada after you return from your India trip.

one add-on reason as to why you should do you medical at the location where you are permanently staying is ...that if there are additional tests identified by IRCC (just in case) then they would inform back the medical center where you performed your medicals. There might be a way out to perform those at newlocation but why to take risk of falling in a crack.
