Can I apply for PR application while waiting for a decision on PGWP?

Hi,

I meet the required eligibility criteria and have the required points. Can I apply under FSW category for PR while waiting for a decision on my PGWP? Would it cause a problem in PGWP? Since i'm eligible for only 1 year of work permit here, I do not want to waste time waiting for PGWP and applying after but at the same time wouldn't want to risk any of them as well. Has anyone gone through a similar situation in the past? Any help will be appreciated on this, thanks!

A PR app would have no effect on a PGWP app.
