Can I apply for F-1 in US after file the citizenship application at CIC?

Hi there,

I have a quick question. I will file my citizenship application with CIC in the spring of 2014 but have a plan to enroll in a PhD program in US since Sep 2014. I really appreciate anybody who can send some comment or instruction re. the effect on my citzn appl. with CIC. I read through many posts here and got an impression that by leaving Canada I might lose my PR status and be rejected in my citzn appl. That really sucks. I need your help!!!

It depends........but now a days the citizenship process is getting more tough....so if i were you, i would have waited first to get the citizenship process done first....
