Can go abroad before getting COPR?

Hi,

I finished medical exam, and I'm now waiting for the passport request and COPR. I'm from visa-exempt country, so there is a possibility that I may not be requested passport...

Can I go abroad now? Is there some problem when I come back to canada in the case that COPR letter has been delivered to my home when I am out of canada?
I heard that if COPR is issued, then the current work permit is invalid. Then I'm afraid maybe I cannot come back to Canada using my current work permit in case that the COPR is delivered to my home when I'm away...

CEC doesn't have any requirement to not leave or stay in Canada during the process.

COPR does not invalidate your work permit.
