So lets see, on your passport, your name for example andy singh is in the first name coloum, right? it doesn't have any surname in your passport (indian passports I don't think have middle name option but candidans do). So if your passport says your first name is Andy Singh, then if you have written it as your given name in the application, you shouldn't have any problem. Some people have done it in the past. I can't recall of the user's name, trying searching in the search option, you may find that thread.
