best wishes for you Sheikh for good and smooth landing there..and i hope your good landing experience will encourage many others to land edmonton and then settle in calgary then.

one more, i have read mine Scandinavian driving licence will only give me exemption for the long procedure..while first..i was just perceiving that it will be next day convert to albertan licence like uk, germany, Switzerland, Netherlands etc .

i think we have to leave a lot of our electrical appliance behind here and my wife is sad on it.

yes one thing very special Sheikh vai, i think you have Cph-Reykjavik-edmonton-calgary ---through icelandair +some connecting like westjet or aircanada etc
and imp thing is to ask you bro, do we suppose to collect our baggage at edmonton and reload again to the 2nd air line? by offer, EU -CA you are offered 2x23kg per seat, i need to confirm is it the same for local-domestic flight from edmonton to calgary .... because i have a very bad experience when i travelled through turkish airline to Karachi-Pakistan , i got international luggage access and then Karachi to lahore , i thought it will be the same, but i had to pay a lot of money for my extra luggage bcoz they refuse to consider it international luggage they said now you are treated as domestic traveler.

i have not booked yet..you have done with it...can you confirm from Reykjavik or any other agency in Cph ,

your guidance will be highly appreciated and will be considered a great help.

good wishes for your your growing family in january :)

Dear senior members,

I am going to apply soon and I am vey new here.
I have a question, in the application, can I mention any target province?

(is there anything like that, targeting some provinces are more likely to be accepted and some are less likely to be accepted? I heard, one should not target ontario, it is already populated and popular. Rather one should target alberta which is less popular, so chance of acceptance of application is high!)

Thank you in advance.

Being a FSW, You can mention any Province except Quebec in the Generic Application form.

Acceptance / Processing of your application has nothing to do with your targeted Province.
