As the tensions rise in everyone's hearts and minds...
It is stressful to say the least. Life is on hold, being trapped by the conventional thoughts of some other person. As humans we have always valued having choices and being able to control most processes of our lives. That stops with CIC. There comes a point when you realize that, whether it is months after or days after sending in your application. None the less, once that sets in and you know without a shadow of a doubt that your happily ever after is no longer by your design it becomes a great source of discontent.
Not everyone has the same capabilities to handle stress or disappointments. We are all different. But we are all human. We all hurt, we all laugh. We all love, we all cry. Sometimes we never truly know ourselves until we are pushed to the limit, until we are tested. Sometimes what is revealed is a surprise even to ourselves.
Compassion is key. If we cannot find it to show it to others, why would we expect to find it in others hearts? It is easy to turn to anger or aggression. However, the aftermath of those are not so easily corrected. Everyone here, myself included, came to gain insight on one of the most scariest ventures of our lives. It is a support system that is comforting, that enables the people to find ease in an uneasy process.
As hard as it might be, try and keep the greater picture in sight, find the silver lining. Everyone needs security and kindness to rely on, nothing less nothing more.
I find myself wanting to apologize to all those waiting, to all those refused with similar cases. I do not know what happened, or why this worked the way it did. I do know though, that I am thankful. But not at the price you all have paid. I sincerely wish all of you the best.
Perhaps those of you waiting or refused will see my post as annoying, but I genuinely mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Take Care
